With over 15 years of classroom experience, I specialize in making English Literature accessible and engaging for students aged 12-18. My teaching approach combines traditional literary analysis with modern multimedia resources to help students develop critical thinking skills and a genuine love for reading.
I hold a Master of Education from the University of Toronto and am a licensed teacher with the Ontario College of Teachers. Throughout my career, I’ve developed comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards while allowing for creative exploration and differentiated instruction.

Anna holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from Cardinal Stritch University, along with TEFL certification. She's an international English teacher and Instructional Coach currently working at Chiang Mai International School in Thailand, with around 10 years of experience teaching across a range of curricula. She's deeply committed to creating authentic, student-centered learning experiences — whether that's running poetry cafés, leading writing workshops, co-directing drama performances, or turning her classroom into a creative, cozy space where students actually want to learn. Beyond the classroom, Anna mentors new teachers, designs curriculum, leads professional development sessions, and coordinates school-wide literacy initiatives like her school's DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) program. She's energized by collaboration and creativity, and by watching students grow into curious, kind global citizens.
